Rifle Scopes Swarovski Z6 1-6x BRT reticle

Re: Swarovski Z6 1-6x BRT reticle

I've got the Z6i 1-6x with new BRT reticle. The drops are .75 mils. They are not full mils. This threw me for a major loop at first when nothing was hitting where it was "supposed" to.

I finally found and used the calculator on Swarovski's site. I ran their numbers with my ballistic calculator and figured out that they are .75 mil drops. I confirmed this on paper.

I use it for 3 gunning and it works really well. With my 2800 FPS 69gr SMKs, zero it at 175 yds, and the drops are at 300-400-475-550-etc.

Been looking at that scope as well... How bright is the illuminated dot compared to other illuminated scopes?

It's extremely bright and also adjustable. The center dot is the only thing illuminated on the BRT. It's a nice and small dot so it doesn't obscure far targets like the CD-I reticle does (big center dot). I've got a CD-I Z6i as well and like the BRT much better.
