I have the 4.5-14x40 LR with M1 knobs and B&C retical on 700PSS 308,,it functions fine and all but is second focal plane and the reticle is kinda funky,,but it tracks extremely well and has pretty good glass,,

how will the 3-15 SWFA compare to the Leupold in glass and tracking,,I like the mag range for 308 and the FFP mil/mil if it tracks as good and glass is comparable I would switch ,,I tried the 3-15 Weaver EMDR but had problems with the locking turrets and switched back to the Leupold,,I cant really afford the super high end scopes

the swfa 3-15 gets a little hazy at 15. it does not have as good of glass as the weaver. i have an edmr and a mildot version 3-15x50 but i do not have the leupold you do only the 3.5-10 mark 4. my guess the leupold has better glass.

Leupold has the glass hands down.

SWFA has the tracking and better feel of turrets and seems much more robust than the leupy. I had a MK 4 and sold it to buy the SWFA. Fwiw.
