Rifle Scopes swfa vs vortex

So I have a vortex hs-t 5-15x44 I've used for the last year or so. Pretty happy with it for the most part. I'm going to need a new scope for a 300 wsm I just picked up. Should I spring the extra cash for the swfa ss 3-15x42?

Do you want/need FFP, more elevation, or a reticle beyond a basic mil-dot?

Well not so far....
most of my shooting has been 500 yrds or less but soon I will be shooting that routinely. And now I'm close to a 1000 yrds range.
