I have been looking around at the various 7mm bullets for my 7mm-08 build and found that Swift makes a 150gr Scirocco. Sort of caught my interest as it fills the gap between the 140 & 160 grain options (Amax, Berger, etc).

Looks like they are a high BC hunting bullet with higher retained weight but kind of pricy as well. Think HDY makes a 154gr Interbond that is simular as well in price and BC.

Anyone have any experience with these?

Sir,
The Swift bullets are very accurate and bonded as well. Hold togather fly flat and just great all around.J4 jackets I think. Expensive as well.
Hornady bullets are good and not so high. Fine bullets. Pay your money and take your pick.

Yep, the Swifts run about $54/100 and the Hornady Interbond about $48/100.

Just seems like you never hear much about people using Swift bullets, maybe its because of the cost.

I shoot the 150 swifts out of my 7RUM and they have performed very well on the animals I've killed. I never weighed the bullets I recovered, but they held together very well.

Ive got 2 7-08s and after trying alot of different bullets I have found that the 120's at over 3000 fps were better than anything else for whitetails. The 150 scirocos did not expand well at the velocity I was able to get them to, but they did shoot less than MOA
