Rifle Scopes switched from US Optics / Night force to Premier

[Mag 300]

well last week had 3 NSX all MLR mil/mil and one US optics SN3
now have no scopes and went with all Premier Hertitages
2 of the 5x25 gen 2 XR 34 mm tubes all mil/mil
1 of the 3x15 gen 2 mildot 34 mm tube mil/ mil scope

GOD I hope these are nice????????

Bill, they are VERY nice. The glass is just beautiful and they are built like a tank. I can 't imagine you won't be very pleased. I compared my Premier with my shooting buddy's S&B and I actually preferred the Premier. While others may disagree from some posts I have read, I find the glass markedly better than the NSX. Only time will tell if they hold up as well as the NSX, which have a well earned rep for durability. That said, I can't imagine the Premier wont be every bit as durable.

While not scopeless, I'm in the same boat.

My SN3 and some $$ went for a 5-25. I was thinking of switching from moa/moa to mil/mil and asked the right question of the right person and now I wait......

Haven't heard any bad that hasn't been rectified with the 3-15's, hoping the 5-25's are gtg out the gate. I'm, always nervous being a buyer of anything first gen.

The only question I have is. Where the hell was I when you sold the NF(mil/mill) scopes?

I have 3 PH 3-15 and 1 5-25 on the way. I love my PH scopes they give me every thing I need. I think you will be happy with yours. If not you can sell them to me.

I did want to have all the same scopes and really prefered the first focal plane on the USO. so in my case this was a best of both worlds type deal.

I should only need 3 one for a 338 lapua , one for a 300 WM one for a tubb t2k in 6 CM

it was a good time to trade in that it cost me nothing but shipping for the three Heritages. thats is a deal
did give up three nsx and one US optics for the three but all in all should be a good way to go .
I get the first 3x15 Friday
others are awaiting shipping from premier
I appreciate the commments makes one feel a lot better

I think that the strength of this site is that not everyone agrees on much, but I certainly agree with you on this one Bill.

100 people can line up and then look through 100 different optics and then have 100 different opinions.

But I know what I saw...

Swapping 3 1/2 scopes for 3? I haven't worked with the Premier to know if 3 of them would make up the 1/2 a scope difference, but I would tend to gravitate to more medium quality scopes than fewer higher quality scopes. I have way more guns than scopes, though.

I switched from USO and S&B to PH and am happy. The other two scopes were quite good, but I prefer the PH for build and optics.

I read a 4:3 ratio, unless you are counting the USO as "half a scope".......

your right I traded 4 for 3 !!!!!!!!!!!!

I have been shooting 2 rifles with iron one a M21 in 308 and the other is a Tubb T2k with the Tubb sighting system there great at 600 yds
the others I have are a 338 lapua lawton action wil get a 5x25 heritage, a 300 win mag also 5 x 25 hertitage and a nother Tubb t2k in 6CM that will get a 3x15 heritage

The word I have is we will be taking delivery of them the week after the 4th of July holiday. There have been a few made that I understand are impressive as hell. I've yet to see one.

Why is USO a 1/2 scope. Palma did you have a bad experience? Id like to hear it. Im considering doing the same thing, I can keep my eyes off the PH.

You are correct sir, I see no problem with having a personal preference, but a USO being "half a scope", that's one of the funniest things I've heard in a long time.

Bill,I have three NF's,1BR,2 NXS. 2 Loopy's and a Premiere Heritage. The premiere is the best!

Dave I am not saying the best in that the USO and the NF I had worked great, I do really like the Premier a litttle more and for me all the same scope being mil / mil heritage makes it easier
