Switching powders?

I'm running low on rl22 and have some other powder that could work but would prefer not to start from scratch. Is it possible to try and match the velocity and use that load? Or do different powders have different accuracy nodes? Still learning. Thanks.

Whenever a component of a load is changed weather it be the bullet, powder, primer or brass it always safe to rework the load. Starting 10 % down and working your way back up, always watching for signs of high pressure.
Different powders react different in different cases.

Yes, I intend to do that. But instead of loading a bunch of 5 shoot groups I could work my way up to that velocity and call it good. 10 loads maybe instead of 30 to 40

You'd probably be fine, just watch your pressure
