Since there is another thread with great input on Aimpoint products I thought to cover another base too.
Any experience on magnifiers for Aimpoints?
Was it worth it (weight, usability wise?
Are you using it and how often and in what instances?
How much did it add to your effective range?
How much did it reduce it?
Have you pondered getting it but declined to, why?
I have browsed threads taking on to this idea but did not get near deciding on it.
My Aimpoint is used for firing drills within 2-20m and I was thinking if Mag could improve my 150m groups (and maybe some other areas?
I also switch it between different guns via its QD mount. I even use it on air guns. Probably not using the Mag on other setups.
The flipside of this is that adding stuff to the rifle makes it heavier and I chose the T2 partly for the low weight. Magnifier also induces parallax error, and what else?
