Trying to decide on the stock for my next build. The rifle will be an 18" 6.5x47 most likely using a light palma as the barrel contour. This puts the muzzle at about .820. I have liked the rifles I've done using the Manners SL and may go that route again. On the other hand I like the lines of the T2A and am thinking about it as well.

For those of you who use the T2 or T2A, how do you like it for a general use stock? Is it a stock that really seems to be more limited to prone, or do you feel any drawbacks to the design?

I love the T2A, I've never felt like it puts it at any disadvantage, matter of fact, I'm wanting to order one for my 10FP, which is my "All purpose" rifle.

Just asking because the only other vertical grip type stock I've had, the A4, was great for a fixed position, but truely sucked as a fieldable setup. It left a lot to be desired when used in any position other than aoof a solid rest or prone on the bipod.

Re: T2A on a general purpose rifle

The A4 has a more vertical grip than the T2 does. All of my rifles wear the T2, and all are general purpose hunting and tactical rifles. The grip is more natural for me on the T2's than say the A4 or T4 stocks.
