TAC in 308

Anyone running TAC in there 308? Like to hear some feedback if ya are.

I just shot this with decent results for me:

180gr Hornady Interbond
40gr TAC
Win case
Win primer
OAL 2.74"

Out of a AR-10 with an 18" DPMS barrel. My groups were the same size (@1 MOA)as BH Match and Hornady match (both 168 gr) that day. I was stringing horizontally which I know to be me, so I will say it shoots better than I do.

I've been shooting it for a year now in my 700 (26" 1:12 twist) and am very happy with it. My goal was to duplicate Federal GMM 175 and this is where I ended up:

175 SMK
42.8 grains TAC
Lapua brass
CCI BR2
OAL 2.79

I get 2650 fps and same dope as the Federal.

41gr of TAC in a mil case with a 147gr FMJ gives me a pretty good dupe of surplus ammo.

I found it created way too much chamber and barrel heat in my 700P, accuracy was fine. I was using it with Nosler match 168's and Lapua 155 Scenars.
