I have a problem I ordered a Tac Ops drag bag about 1 month ago paid in full for the bag by USPS money order. It should have shipped 3 weeks ago but it did not. Then it was supposed to ship 2 weeks ago, and still no bag. It was for sure going to ship last week and still no bag.

I have maintained communications with Mike at Tac ops and he said it was shipping. Yet, I still have no bag. Has anyone ever had this problem before? I ordered from Tac Ops because he comes highly recommended.

Think you need to sit back and call Mike and give him time to get back to you, He is a good guy to deal with and He WILL NOT STEAL your money...Truthfully think you are going about this the wrong way, and this is the main reason no dealers want to do group buys anymore because of this...Anyways just my .02 worth

The wrong way. I am a very patient person. I so not want to bad mouth Mike at all. Since he was highly recommended from this website. I figured I would get the information I needed by asking. money was send 4-5 weeks ago. So, I am being unreasonable? I talked to him before I sent the money. They where in stock ready to ship.

Bro, he is a busy man, he has like a hundred new messages everyday on his phone, so be patient. Mike is an honest and stand up guy who would never take your money.

I'm sure Mike is a good guy but I kinda feel spersky, I definitely would be a little worried too. This is just a drag bag, it shouldn't be that hard to recieve the money and ship the product. I think it is more like spersky is being put on the back burner since Mike is a very busy guy. I would just wait until you get in contact with him and ask for a tracking# if he doesn't have it then ask for a refund and move on with your life. Eagle makes nice stuff too. Maybe next time you should pay with a AMEX credit card, should be easier to dispute. Just my 2 cents not trying to knock the guy.

I was recently at Mike's place and can attest that he's having issues with the supplier of the webbing. The customers that have received their bags late have also received a few cheek pads and scope covers to make up for late shipment. I also know this because the guys Mike uses to make his bags and cheek pads also make my bags and cheek pads. I don't think there's any question that Mike will take care of you and the comments regarding the "$300 scam" is clearly a bad case of "Internet Road Rage."

Obviously, I am new here to this web site. I respect the members and their opinions. That is why I posted this thread. I do not intent to disrespect Mike or Tac Ops. I have never dealt with this company before, and when I am told to expect delivery. I expect delivery. If this is perceived as unreasonable, it is not my intention.

The best time to call Mike is after 19:00 his time (Cali). He is busy building rifles during the day. Mike has been doing business for 18 years or so and do you really think he would scam you out of $300 to ruin his integrity?

Posting a thread of this nature is really sad and not really warranted...Since you only have 13 posts I would change my name and start over because you really do not want a reputation here as a key board commando.

I would delete this thread if I were you and if I was Mike I would just send you your money back. He does not need your business but i can assure the bag is worth a little wait. Shit happends I am sure he is just busy.

Mike is GTG and a stand up guy, i have dealt with him on more than a few occasions and he is top notch. He is extremely busy though and like someone else said the best time to get ahold of him is acually late at nite pacific time. I've called him at 2 am before and he answered the phone and proceeded to talk to me for about an hour, so try to be patient. U could also try getting ahold of him on snipercentral i think he goes by Black Ops if i remeber correctly.

As a builder of gear, there are a lot of people and vendors that I rely on to get gear made. there are vendors for materials, shipping companies to get it to me, so on and so forth.

Fact of the matter is, people don't have patience anymore, and you can read about it on this board daily. People crying about their full tilt rifles that absolutely can not be bought off the shelf, custom scopes with custom reticles with knobs over here instead of over there, etc. etc. Folks want to get something custom made specificly for them from a company that makes specialty gear/equipment and they want to bitch about it taking a little while longer.

The on demand days are certainly here, but your not downloading porn, this shit takes a little while, have some patience.

Yeah, Its all about instant gratification because when I am told something has shipped and it never arrives. I am just being impatient. You spout out buzz words like Instant gratification generation like you are some wise old sage without even looking at what I was talking about. If I was told the wait was 4-6 weeks, then no problem. The problem is I was told on 3 different occasions it was being shipped. I guess I just do not understand modern professional business.

Unfortunately I think this is a pretty biased crowd, and for good reason, there has been a lot of good business with Tac Ops. While Tac Ops is a reputable company with a reputable owner, the OP was told that something would ship and it has not. If Tac Ops had simply stated they were behind and were unable to ship for a couple of weeks that would be entirely different. In this case it seems as Tac Ops has given false information to the OP in order to pacify him.

On another note, I believe the OP knows that he has not been scammed and that there is simply a delay. He was out of line to say such things but we all get a little impatient and anxious when waiting on the arrival of a new toy.

Call Tac Ops and ask for a tracking number by end of business day. If they are unable to do this or provide a decent explanation as to why not, then you should get a return on your order.

What color was the bag you ordered? I'm in the market for one and if you ordered a multicam bag, I'll send you your $300 and wait on the bag if Mike is ok with that.

I would deffinately consider editing your original post to remove the words scam, fooled and stolen.

spersky take a midol bud and chill. Mike doing a $300 scam...lol do you know that mike builds rifles for tons of 3 letter federal agencies and does not even need to sell us civillians anything?
Mike is one helluva guy who spends 12-18 hours a day running a very sucessfull company selling top of the line weapons.
He is probably running his ass ragged but call him after 7pm pst and I bet he will get you sorted out.

I'm trying to get one in multicam as well...I'd surely take it and wait if necessary. I contacted Mike as well and he got back to me and asked me for my number and I have not heard back. I hope he calls me when he gets caught up and can handle another order.

I have no doubt, just based on reading a few threads on this forum before I contacted Mike, that he is not stealing money or scaming anyone.

That being said, it is good business policy to manage the expectations of your customers. That is easily done by under promising and over delivering. Keeping your word when you give it is also important and if you can't folks normally understand if you contact them and explain why and what you are doing about it. Many times good damage control will get you more satisfied customers than if you had gotten it right the first time.

I hope it gets worked out.

Mike, call me, I have some money I need you to steal.

Well, alot of people send Mike alot more than $300 sight unseen for a rifle build....myself included. The time given for a rifle build was 9-18months. Having spoken with Mike personally, I truly believe that there has been a miscomunication, or a shipping error.
I third the advice to give him a call. He has been nothing but professional when I have spoken with him. I also don't see how he gets a rifle built ever, because he takes ALOT of time on the phone with customers and you never feel rushed.
I am sure he will be along sometime soon in this thread to get things straightended out.

Mike doesn't ship everything out, he has his assistant do it for him, I know because when I sent in rings to be coated with my Lima, he told me that he'd prefer if they were steel so he told me to sell em and he'd ship em at no cost to me, so when they sold (here on the hide) he got it in a box right away and after a week and a half the guy that bought em asked me "wheres the rings" turns out Mike thought they had already shipped but the truth was that one of his assistants or something had just forgotten to ship em. Mike's integrity shouldn't have to be questioned as he has supplied hundreds of law enforcement agency's with some top notch rifles and gear, Ive never heard a complaint about him taking someone's money and Ill be really surprised if that ever happens. the best time is to call him before 11pm cali time, he used to take phone calls till midnight but I think he changed that as people would call at midnight and have him on the phone for an hour+. Could be wrong though.

It's a couple of posts up but to the members asking about multi-cam, here's the scoop:

I called Mike a couple of weeks ago to see if he had any. He said he had a large order of the material due to be delivered during the first week of June. He asked that I call him back to check availability around the 8th.

thats great as I want one of his drag bags in multicam a must have item for sure. I have yet to have him build me a rifle I want three custom rigs Tac Ops GA pre & DD Ross and Im done let the three boys fight over those

As it has been said, you need to relax a little. Your bag will arrive, Mike will not take your money and run. If it has not shipped yet then there is obviously a perfectly good explanation. As has been said, contact him.

I had a long wait for mine too, but trust me, it is on the way. you are doing the right thing calling mike. you might want to send him an email, direct, at tacops. simply put as others have said above, he is just a VERY VERY busy man. it will go out, and it will be worth the wait when it arrives. He is good people and he goes way above and beyond to treat the customer right. i know you are frustrated but just keep trying to get ahold of him. you will eventually succeed, and you wont be disappointed. the Guy is Top Notch.
