Forgive me for my ignorance… what makes a knife like a Benchmade worth the cost premium over some of the other options out there?

fucking love the shootout. it’s my favorite out of all of them. i use and carry it everyday. ive sold most of the knives in the pic after using them and realizing they suck for various reasons. i also like the BM phaeton (4th up from bottom) as well as far as using it, but it fails to fire 20% of the time so it just sits in my trucks center console.

Forgot about this Kershaw Launch 6 auto. It's a big one with a blade length of 3.75 inches. Fires hard for such a heavy blade. Side opening.
