Tactical Machining?

Hey all, I'm looking to buy a new receiver for my 10/22. I wanted a Nodak Spud at first, but they're out of stock until the next run, whenever that will be. I was looking online and saw the billet receiver by Tactical Machining. The price is decent and it looks pretty nice. I liked the integral scope base too. Does anyone have any experiance with this unit?

I have heard good things about their AR receivers but the 10/22 is new so I haven't seen one or heard anything about it.

If I were going to build a 10/22 from the ground up with a custom receiver, I'd go with the Kidd Supergrade. It's high dollar, but with the rear tang and threaded receiver, they all but eliminate the barrel droop/pivot point issues.

I fully plan on ordering a full Kidd Supergrade sometime in 2013 once I get done with some current projects.

TM makes great stuff. I don't have experience with 10/22, but I do have a couple of their 10/22 lowers in 80% form that I need to finish. They make good stuff.

Metalhead, why do you want to part with your factory receiver? I'm in the market if you want to sell it.
