So I want to rebarrel a 700 this winter for tactical matches and I'm trying do decide what caliber. I want to keep it at 20" and going to run a can. Which would be the best out of these three-6 competition match, 6.5 creedmoor, and 7mm-08AI. The targets are between 200-600 yards with a couple at 900 as bonuses.

6.5 Creedmoor is one of my favorites. And you can find factory ammo in a pinch pretty easily.

most 6.5 will work great, 6.5 lapua, creedmoor and the 260 rem. the 7-08 is darn good also but doesn't have to be an AI
the 308 with 175's will do all that too but not as flat a trajectory.

if your reloading a 300 wsm is super nice but id not the 7-08 or the 6.5 the way to go. but their endless possibility
