Need a CIRAS cumberbund modified to hold side plates. I have one of the old ones and a new updated cumberbund. On the new one some of the stitching that holds the new mesh pocket goes through 2 layers of CORDURA and the plastic stiffener inside. I went to a local shop that does camping equipment but they can't get through the plastic. They recommended a cobbler.

Thanks for the lead. I got it squared away.

Re: Tactical seamstress?

The sell a replacement CIRAS cumberbund that will hold plates. Im seeing $54 to $65 on my search. also numerous companies sell molle attachable side armor carrier pouches (I have four sitting right here that are holding nice boron plates and soft armor).
