Re: Tactical XP-100R .260

WOW! Probably out of line, but if you ever sell, I wanna know!

How's it shoot? That thing is bad a$$ all the way. Did you think about a left hand bolt at all? My HS Precision pistol is right hand bolt and is a bit awkward compared to my Blaser HHS with the left hand bolt, much slicker shooting it right handed. Great build, I have gun envy -- again!

Thanks for sharing, love those specialty pistols!

Just as accurate, I own 2 XP's and shot them out to 600yds with MOA accuracy.

Re: Tactical XP-100R .260

I've only ran about 30rds through it because of the great Michigan weather but so far it is shooting great sub-MOA.

The right hand bolt doesn't bother me that much. I'm still getting use to whole pistol rifle thing.

As for targets I will post pics as soon as my A.R.M.S 22L mounts get here

First let me say you cannot build a pistol from a rifle action without a BATF stamp but you can build a rifle out of a pistol action.
You can do this a couple of ways, the one above is done with an XP-100R, which is the the repeater version. The original XP-100 was a sinlge shot and makes an awesome way to build a badass LR pistol. I have 2 one is a 7.21 Lazzeroni and the other a 300 Dakota. They were both built by Gre-Tan rifles. Then there is the Savage Striker it to was a repeater. Then as of lately Savage has released an undesignated action which when you do your paperwork you can designate pistol or rifle. There are several people who make stock's for them. There's no limit to what you can have them chambered in(XP's) You can find out all your wallet can handle over at Specialty Pistol's site. I got the fever years ago after reading Bob Milek's article's on Handgun Hunting and haven't looked back. The only rifle I shoot is a 10/22
