Gunsmithing Taking play out of bipod?

Any ideas on how to take the side to side play out of this bipod. It's off a .50 and is nice and heavy duty but it has zero tension and flops side to side. I don't see a way to make it tighter. Thanks

I assume you're talking about the pivot bolt/point that attaches the rail mount to the leg frame?

Maybe use stainless, wave, or friction washers to take up slack and swivel lock lever system similar to this Harris piece: https://www.harrisbipods.com/HB747.php?

Those bipods SUCK. Other than what's already been said, I have no additional info. I am empathizing with you plight.

How much dough you got in it? Sell it? Send it to a 'smith to tighten if that even requires a little machine work. ?

I got through even my high end 'pods with machine work to make them even more rigid.
