Rifle Scopes Talley bubble level scope base?

Building up a new lighter weight 6.5CM R700 hunting rifle. Anyone have any experience with Talley bubble level one piece bases? Couldn't find much on the forum search.

looks like the bubble is in the way of one of the screw holes

The rear screw would be installed before the level bubble goes in.

So what holds the bubble in? Is it going to get knocked out packing it around?

I believe it is held in with a c clip.
