I have two Tasco 24X44 target scopes with the sun shades and target turrets. Both were made in Japan. Used only for load development in the 90’s on my service rifles. A little flaking on interior. $150.00 .

What does flaking on the interior mean. Is there loose stuff floating inside the scope?

Yep, little black flakes. They still work fine and track fine, just little flecks inside. You would think they could be cleaned? Or Tasco clean them?
