Main reason for the shoot was to sight in my tikka t3 tactical RCS at 100m. also sighted my remington 7615 police.

temperature was about 15C , no wind , and was raining the whole time , but only a light drizzle.

hoping to find some more spots in the various forests around my area to get back into some long range work,

hey mate,

its an RCS made by roedale precision in germany (www.roedaleprecision.com) .

its brilliant to fire, adds a bit of weight to the rifle too, which helps in balance considering the crap plastic stock that comes with tikkas normally, also allows use of 5 and ten round AICS mags.

im very happy with it. cheaper than an aics too.

Looks like a good set-up you've got yourself there, quite similar to my own. I've also got a T3, just haven't ordered an RCS yet. And I've got a 7615 as well. Makes a pretty good combination for most hunting scenarios.

I like the use of work gear there as well, much cheaper than buying it

Thanks for the feedback fellas,

VIET the pack is a 511 tactical , not sure model etc

Todd , Beaconsfield pretty well known from an incident last year where a portion of the gold mine collapsed and a few miners were trapped for a couple of weeks in a cage underground , they were rescued though!

Sleeman i love my T3 in the RCS i can not fualt it! the 7615 is a bit of fun too!

cheers SAS_Sniper!

have a good one fellas,

Hey Anthony

Nice rig mate

Just curious, as another fellow aussie, did customs give you any grief bringing the RCS into the country?

Just curious as i would prefer to buy stuff myself from overseas and have it delivered... cutting out the middle man certainly has $ benefits for me

Whats your thoughts on the 7615? Im guessing its .223 right? What sort of accuracy can you get out of it

Re: Tasmania , Australia (state forest)

Gday Vman ,

cheers for the comments im very happy with the tikka,

Customs didnt give me any trouble at all , as the stock is sent without magazines , they didnt even contact me at all!you get the magazines from a second location , hinterland shooting supplies i think.

the 7615P .223/5.56NATO is a great fun little rifle , accuracy wise its pretty good considering , but obviously its not a precision rifle! im using pretty cheap ammo (wolf 55GR FMJ) and it still goes pretty well, about 1.5 MOA with a leupold VX3 3.5-10x40 . with the ghost rings its pretty tricky !

its great to be able to order stuff direct from overseas, the importers in australia are ridiculous with the mark ups on normally reasonable prices!

Tell me about it mate i just recently got my AICS 1.5 from Hinterland, and then realised that i could just buy one from guys on here for about $1000 delivered... mmm anyways live n learn

Hinterland are nice people to deal with however so no drama

Im hoping to place an order for a roedale muzzle brake soon... cant wait should be off its tits
