I was on the lookout for a pocket gun. I have a Sig P365, but the grip is just too small for me. I picked up a Taurus G3c and was pleasantly surprised. It's physically almost the same size as the P365, but a little bigger and a bit beefier. And, aside from 9mm, it also comes in S&W 40 caliber. I picked up a new all black one in 9mm with two 12 round mags for $232.00 so I figured I couldn't lose. At least, not much.

After 100 rounds, I like this gun! The slightly larger grip feels much better to me than the one on the Sig, and I can shoot it every bit as well or better. The trigger has a lot of take-up, but the break was better than most guns of that type I've shot. It has a trigger safety. It also has a right-handed safety, but the grip is ambidextrous. I have no problem holding dead center on man-sized targets out to 50 feet, and I can still hold it center mass on the target out to 50 yards. I had a variety of ammo, and it ate everything I fed it.

It breaks down like a Glock, and cleaning is easy. Mine came with 12 round mags, but you can get it with 10 rounds mags that protrude a bit shorter out of the grip.

If your looking for a pocket pistol and most offerings feel uncomfortably small in the grip, you might check out one of these.

I used to be pretty anti Taurus but picked up a tx22 a few years ago because my kid liked it and I have to say, it is very accurate and reliable and the trigger blows my ruger mark3 and old buckmark out of the water.

I have held the G3C but never fired one. They do feel better in my hand vs the 365/hellcat size guns. I wear XXL gloves.

I have the g3 full size, it's been a good range gun and I used to keep it on my nitestand in the BR ,but have rotated several other pistols for that over the years , only thing that really irked me was the rear sight was plastic , replaced it with a fiber optic sight , haven't fired it in over 2 years , but back when I 1st got it I put maybe 300rds through it with no problems , also have a G2 or as it was called back then a PT111 , I used it as a CC pistol for a while ,but eventually returned to my glock G27 that I still use today , I know alot of people bad mouth Taurus guns , but I've had 5 over the years and never had a failure of any kind, YMMV.now that I think about it ,I remember seeing a YouTube video about the G3 compact having some issues, might want to Google reviews and see if that comes up.

Update -
I noticed that there are some shooters that claim the accuracy of the G3c is bad, and they can't hit anything with it. I encountered one such shooter, and asked him if I could try his gun. After putting a magazine load through it, I noticed it shot every bit as well as mine. I think the issue is since it is a low-cost gun, many inexperienced shooters are buying them. And, because of their inexperience, their accuracy is poor. In reality, they likely couldn't hit the side of a barn with a Glock, Sig, or any other handgun of this size.

After I gave the shooter a few pointers, his accuracy greatly improved. But, he still needed a lot of practice.

Taurus gets a bad rap. Gets shit on constantly. One of the most accurate hand gun ever had was a 357 sw knock off. Really regret getting rid of it years ago. Had a 357 snub nose rosi was also a tack driver. That pos got stolen. Ymmva

You must own some real shit guns to put the bar that low.

I don't know any competent gun owners , trainers or salesmen who don't think they are piece of shit...because they are. They get a bad rap because they are shitty clone designs made with shitty parts by retards who make century arms monkeys look like Manhattan project engineers. Every single one I have owned or shot had issues. Same with shooters In my circle. Ask high volume gun sellers what brands have the most returns......

Ignorant, inexperienced shooters who honestly don't know what the fuck their talking about whitewashing the issues with the brand need to just shut the fuck up. It's a disservice to people trying to make educated purchasing decisions.
