Can you tell us more about these stocks please. There is not much information on the web sight. I am very new to long range shooting and just bought a Bergaga 14. I am 67 so I love wood. Will this stock hurt my accurize - I was looking at a changing my stock but this does not seen like the way the young men are playing.
With Respect,
Alvin

Not DepTaylor but I own one of his stocks being built right now into an old school M40 in .223 caliber.

They are standard wood stocks that he built to closely resemble 1960's era Remington 700 wood.

He even has a pattern that somewhat matches Winchester M70/McMillan HTG stocks.

They are first class stocks.

I believe he has two butt plates - some are remingtom M40 style and others are a sweet in house build that resembles old Springfield Armory match M1903 butt plates.

If you bed or fit perfectly your gun will be accurate and beautiful.

Wood is not as stable as synthetic though depending on the weather you may get some issues.

Not to be a nit pickin asshole - and please dont hesitate to correct me if Im actually wrong here - the McBros Classic is the one thats based on the M70 Marksman, the HTG is M40A1... ??

The M40A1 stock was inspired by the Pre 64 Winchester Model 70 pistol grip geometry, straight stock and tapered fore end, similar to a mixed Sporter/Marksman stock.

@DepTaylor makes a stock with similar lines for the VuDoo V22 Raven but I see just now VuDoo has gone to similar fiberglass stocks.
