I'm expecting my Thunderbeast 30BA very soon and plan to run it on my Savage 6.5cm and a .223 AR. My problem is that I can't find any 1/2x28 brakes in stock anywhere so I was wondering if I could use a 1/2x28 to 5/8x24 adapter and use a 30 cal brake? I'm concerned about adding another threaded connection and point of failure but if other people have done this with no problems then I may go ahead and do it until I get a 1/2x28 brake. If anybody could point me to a 1/2x28 brake in stock that would be ideal and much appreciated as well.

We have a big batch entering finishing now. They should be ready by about the 21st. We'll be gone at SHOT Show next week anyway.

thanks for the reply. I'm expecting my stamp by the end of the month so the timing will work out. I'll just order a brake from you guys then.
I plan to run my 30P-1 on my AR-15 with a Precision Armament thread adapter. Zack says it will be fine
