If you read the KAC EMR manual as well as watch the REPR videos on LWRC's site, you'll see that a semi-auto 308 can be perceived to support a variety of different roles.
Yes, I have both rifles (actually the REPR just shipped to its new owner) and access to the TBAC can.
I suspect Zak's can is over engineered to the point that it would endure the noise making antics shown on the LWRC site, but would be much more effectively used as a precision rifle can as depicted by the intended use of the KAC EMR (and .mil SASS rifles) with a firing regiment of around 5 rounds per 2 minute spans. Granted the KAC can sling a large amount of precision aimed copper in a short period of time when needed, given the form factor so closely resembles your full auto M4, the points made in their manual about maintaining match grade accuracy are valid.
