Suppressors TBAC 338 Ultra Range Report

I was shooting 28 Nosler today (28" barrel), burning 85 grains of powder, with the 338 Ultra attached. This was the conversation a few benches down:

Person 1: "Is that a .22?"
Person 2: "No, I think that is a 6.5 Creedmoor."
Person 3: "He must be shooting subsonic ammunition, whatever it is."

Yes sir, same can I use on my 28... Sounds like a subsonic 308..recoil is nothing too... my 11 yr old shot his first deer with it also.

Can you use these with the same brake attachment as the ones for the ultras

Yes the 338 ultra, the ultra 9 and 7 and smaller OD brakes/mounts than the 338 ultra

To use the 338 Ultra on a 30CB mount, you'd need the CB2BA adapter for the 338 Ultra. It attaches semi-permanently to the suppressor with red loctite.

I should also add that if you attach the CB2BA adapter to the 338 Ultra, it won't attach to a 338BA brake that the 338 Ultra would normally mount to. So it would limit you to shooting 30 caliber or smaller. That's my understanding at least but I'd love if @Zak Smith could confirm.

Will there ever be a 338CB mount or do the dimensions just not allow for it?

No, the 338 Ultra will stick with the larger 338BA brake.
