Suppressors TBAC Question

I picked up a thunderbeast certificate at a PRS match recently. What I would like to do with it is get the quietest can I can get for a 223 trainer. I see they have a 223 Ultra 7 that would be just fine. My question is would the 6.5 Ultra 9 be quieter on a 223 because of its extra length or would the larger caliber cause it to be louder?

To my ear, those 2 sound about the same on a 223. Of course the 6.5 can will be more universal. Im sure Zac will chime in with the technical answer.

The 6.5 ultra-9 maybe the best option for that reason alone.

I’d always go with something more flexible. The ultra 7 .30 sounds great on a .223 to my ear.
