Is it worth it to you?

An article from 2018 in which FB apologized and reversed the removal, admitting that it was a mistake. Not sure if this is “preaching to the choir” or “virtue signaling” or just lazy interneting. But, um, big fuckin deal.

My apologies good sir. I see FB has since changed and is much more open to free speech. You should continue to use FB as a revenue generator using their second to none tracking practices to optimize your reach.

I've had my own internet connection since I was 12 years old. My first son was born when I was 16. Needless to say I grew up watching social media become what it is today and one of my biggest fears raising my kids was that they would fall into the negative side of social media. Thank God they only use Facebook to play games and laugh at stupid shit.

Facebook means little to me, I have connected with a couple old friends and its a convenient way to keep in touch.

I can see that in todays 'woke' world that phrase could trigger the censors. Bottom line is they permitted all but that and then relented. I've found Fakebook, generally pretty permissive, more so than many forums. Of course they are harvesting all your info.

Like most things its pretty much what you make of it.
