Oh the horror . . . </div></div>

I'm with you on this one... Who cares, put them on your scope.

The company that bought Bushnell, tasco, Uncle Mikes, etc. etc. bought Butler Creek too and moved the operation out of the U.S. a few years ago.

We never used to get returns on flip ups but we do now. Biggest complaint is they won't stay shut.

I thought this was a thread about the household staff! My advice is SE asian for loyalty, South American for hard labor, and Eastern European blondes for fluff!

Importing directly from the craphole they live in is a bit costly upfront but far cheaper in salary. One year contract at THE most or they start feeling like they deserve to be paid more and fondled less

Hold their visas and remind them one phone call can do it all.

The USMC S&B's ship with BC's. IMO BC's are junk, I break them left and right, on the eyepeice usually the button breaks but sometimes it breaks at the hinge, and the objective covers break at the hinge.

If your scope is big enough you can order a NF bikini cover from most dealers for $17 in 50mm or 56mm, but the 50MM will fit most scopes even 56MM models. For smaller scopes I use BC bikini covers. Simply zip tie it to the tube, or tie it with some 550 cord and you won't lose it, and it won't stick up obscuring your view of the knobs, or down range like the flip ups do. I also find the proper size BC flip ups for some scopes are very tight which can make it hard to flip open or snap shut. A bikini cover is just as fast to pop off as BC's are to open, possibly even faster if it isn't tied to the tube or if the flip ups are tight, and it really doesn't take any more time to put back on.

I'll never go back to BC flip ups.

After having the front cover snap off under recoil, I'm switching to bikini covers too.
