What are the best temperature stable powders to use in .308 and 7mm mag? I know it will probably be different powders for each caliber. Fixing to start reloading for both of these calibers.

Re: temperature stable powders

In .308 varget is a very stable and accurate powder

Re: temperature stable powders

Varget is good for .308 and it's (from my experience) been pretty temp stable, BUT it can vary greatly from lot to lot so if you plan to use it, buy several pounds of the same lot.

Re: temperature stable powders

Try Retumbo in the 7mmRM. I switched to it after dealing with RL25's temperature sensitivity.
