For all you lucky Templar owners out there, are any of you running it in a Mcree Precision stock? If you are, did it just drop into a Rem 700 footprint since on their site it says on the specs- "refer to Rem 700" or was their some modifying to it?

Thanks

note- before someone jumps down my throat about contacting GAP or Mcree, I've already talked to Scott and I've emailed and am planning on calling GAP tomorrow. Just seein if anyone else on here has done a similar route

Re: Templar Owners!

Although I am running an AICS the issue should be the same.
The barrel tenon is longer so this brings the recoil lug farther from the the action screws.
So you may need to cut out more of the recoil lug opening going forward and add material to the rear.

Maybe Mcree can edit there program for this, if you have not already bought one.
