    In your head
Before the bullshit gets a foothold let's get to work. We don't need to go down the path of VA.

I have to drive through there on occasion. I will not pass through without protection. Especially if I’m passing through at night - no way. I’d prefer a minimum of a Stryker with an AC130 in air providing cover. Sadly I don’t have access to that level of protection ?. The uneasy feeling start/Ends around Collierville. Even Germantown ain’t what is used to be.

It's what you make of it, you can find the bad anywhere. I am from SoCal and migrated to Seattle. After college lived/traveled/worked coast to coast. From New York to Garden City, Kansas. Memphis has been home for 17 years and I typically drive to work at 1am. I miss the mountains and the ocean...and that is about it.

It's colorful and it has rough in parts. But, I can afford a 100 acre farm and multiple houses. I find the Southern charm nice and welcoming. I have friends and neighbors from Kenya, Brazil, and the Ghetto. Lots of good people out here, you just need to be nice and say hello.

Met my wife in Memphis, raising a family here. Less racism here than I saw growing up in Seattle. (Agains Asian-Americans)...its what you make it for sure, and staying out of Orange Mound and Frasier helps.

I take the family to Memphis and eat BBQ for breakfast lunch and dinner. I have walked some very sketchy places but have never been bothered. I recommend the Loraine Motel and Museum if you have a couple hours.
If you want good BBQ ask the locals and skip the tourist traps.
As for Nashville. The Pharmacy Beer and Burger is worth the stop. You have to really stray off the beaten path to end up in trouble.

    Back to the topic.
The liberals/communist are really pushing the big 4 cities to turn. Memphis has been democrap for a long time. Nashville is not far behind with the influx of those seeking jobs and fame. Chattanooga and then Knoxville are almost to the 50/50 point

Chattanooga, in the city proper, is a lost cause. The current democrat mayor somehow managed to get re-elected even after he got caught banging his chief of staff in his car behind a Mexican restaurant. His policies have helped the city become excessively dangerous as well.

As for the red flag stuff, it will never pass. It won't hurt to contact our reps to remind them that we are watching, but I think we are pretty safe.

Gov. Bill Lee Introduces Constitutional Carry Legislation
Tennessee to protect Second Amendment rights and make communities safer

NASHVILLE, Tenn. – Today, Gov. Bill Lee announced that he is proposing legislation toadvance the Second Amendment rights of law-abiding Tennesseans by implementing a Constitutional Carry law.

“The Second Amendment is clear and concise and secures the freedoms of law-abiding citizens to keep and bear arms,” said Gov. Bill Lee. “I am pleased to announce Constitutional Carry legislation today that will protect the Second Amendment rights of Tennesseans, while also stiffening penalties on criminals who steal or illegally possess firearms. I appreciate Lt. Governor McNally and Speaker Sexton for helping to lead the way on this important issue.”

The governor’s legislation would extend the constitutional right to carry a handgun to all law-abiding citizens with or without a permit who are 21 and older, except in current restricted areas.

The legislation also includes several increased penalties for firearm-related crime to promote public safety

now, THAT's what i'm talking about!!!!!!!!! MORE freedom for the law-abiding, MORE penalties for the criminals!

i sent an email to ralph northam (va gov) letting him know THIS is what he should be doing, not the opposite!
