My son and I went on our first antelope hunt last week. His shot was 251 yds off a bipod and mine was 218 yds off a bipod. It was truly some Father/Son quality time.

Both are Remington Model 7 in 7mm-08. Plain old rifles! over several years of using it I have found this round to be extremely accurate and deadly on white tail sized game. My rifle, the S/S one, has a factory trigger that has been adjusted to 2 pounds and wears a Ziess Conquest 3.5-10 scope. It was bedded by Harvey King of HK Guns in Selma, AL. My son's rifle also has a turned factory trigger but has a Bushnell 3200 scope on it. I shot Nosler 140 BT with a max load of V140 at around 2750 fps. Son's load was 130 Speer BT with a mid wt. charge of H380.
