Our Governor would have wasted several months trying to guage the impact of a possibly contoversial decision, which may or may not be interpreted by any of various constituencies in a fashion that would imperil his chances of being elected to the U.S. Senate.
He'd still be wondering while enduring the rabies shots, or residing in purgatory...
