Hey guys this is my 3rd post since 2009. Didnt needs to do much asking found everything I wanted to know with a search function.
With some searches and wisdom here and local talent (WNY) I finally getting (hopefully precise) precision rig.
Had my my stock left hand rem 700 SPS in 308 for several years never shot it. Been a carbine guy all my life spending my money and time on carbine classes and reloading 223.
Finally succumbed to the bolt gun urge.
Had Dan from Dark Eagle Custom work the rifle over, true the action, replace metal turd between action and barrel with a real recoil lug, work the trigger over (now it breaks at 3 pounds 0 creep breaks like a glass rod) and crown the barrel, had him paint the whole thing in OD green.
I ordered the stock from Mcree in OD green also, but got the FDE colored one decided to keep it since I will be attenting a class soon and I dont feel like waiting since I need to start developing loads soon.
Scott from liberty optics managed to procure me a 6-24 vortex scope when none were to be found, thank you Scott.

I will post more pictures when I mount the scope and will have proper lighting.

Nice rig Petrov! I'm a lot like you....I prefer keeping my opinion to myself and learning from more experienced marksman...but you are right. This is a great forum and I'm grateful to have it as a reference and for entertainment as well. Us shooters need to stick together in times like these.
