Just got back from the theater and---- Wow, this movie was good and fun. There were parts that gave me goose bumps and had me at the edge of my chair.

There is the usual drama (which is pretty funny) and a lot of great fighting so it's really the perfect date night movie.

Agreed - was pleasantly surprised how good the movie was. Christian Bale does a remarkable job portraying the older brother, Dickie, which I didn't fully appreciate until the credits when the real Dickie is talking.

Christian Bale is the reason to see this movie. Amazing job. Wahlberg is good but he is Wahlberg. Bale is a crazy sucked up crack head. Amazing transformation.

If you guys think Bale trimmed down for this movie, check out The Machinist. It's gross how skinny he got for that role. Don't know how he survived, either, to be honest.
