The USS Nimitz gets transported back in time to Dec 6, 1941, just before the attack on Pearl Harbor. With a very yourng Martin Sheen, and a younger but still impressive Kirk Douglas, and an always gorgeous Katherine Ross, its a bit hokey, but well done.

Great movie. Time travel classic.

I completely wanted to see the Tomcats take out Nagumo's entire air arm... It's a movie definitely worth watching!

Philadelphia Experiment is another one from that era that is worth watching.

Just watching the Tomcats perform a no holds barred, no hollywood BS bounce on the Zeroes is worth it.

Yup, that's easily the best part of the film. I have fond memories of watching it when it came out in 1979 or so...
