The Hill People Kit bag (Recon model)

Seems like a good idea, sans the CCW option for us here, however it looks like a good pack for some hiking. Anyone using one here? It's made by First Spear so the quality is G2G.
I'm interested in the Recon & the Tarahumara pack. Any owners/operators out there care to comment? impressions?

Awesome kit bag. Use it for hunting, hiking, etc.

Also, have recently been using it for long range shooting. What's really cool is that while in the prone, it doubles as a rear bag!

Anything made by First Spear is top notch!

i have been using the kit bag and it is great for acess to items when you are on the go and cant/ dont want to stop and dig stuff out of your pack. I will be using it in the Thunder Beast Team Challenge match this year for the above reasons. All in all it has its place

I run a the small version all the time. Its great. I have modified mine to actually clip onto my Kifaru pack and get rid of the harness. The main idea with these bags was for someone who carries a sidearm on their belt, to put the sidearm in the bag so you can easily wear your pack waist belt and still have a side arm.
It also doubles as an admin pouch, etc. Also great for precision rifle work.
