The House Intel Memo

Thats not the House Intel memo.

That is an example of why govt sucks.

There needs to be a law that all laws are written in layman language.

Having lawyers write laws/regs only ensures later work for lawyers

Dunno, but I read through some of that. Seems like a few of the complaints centered around how loose the scope of a wiretap was, citing things like being able to surveil people referenced by, associated with, or otherwise linked to someone named in the order, regardless of whether they were US citizens or not.

Which I found interesting, because I could swear there was an EO or NDAA or something that specifically enabled that 'feature' of a FISA order, and it's also shit we've all known for a while now...

Basically, if someone wanted to surveil a US citizen, they would just need to get an order to surveil a foreigner that the citizen communicates with. Also, it seemed like maybe the cat was out of the bag on that one and EVERY-FUCKING-BODY was doing it.

I just grazed through at work yesterday, and the memo is more lawyery than I can deal with sober, but those were the gems I picked out. I didn't stumble on anything relating to FusionGPS or intentionally/knowingly fabricating reasons to surveil somebody, but it's probably buried in there somewhere.

That memo is just the outline of he Type of surveillance used and abused.

It's not the Nunes memo that gets specific of how what is outlined was manipulated.

Grassley yesterday trumped the counter memo. He said the base intel should be released with it (redacted) so the people can see the intel on which its based.

I think this is all just gonna boil down to loose play with the surveillance of American citizens without a warrant, which is not good, but not damning on the level they're making it out to be. At worst, they're throwing a fit because one of their favorite toys is about to be nerfed a little, maybe. Akin to the pissing and moaning that'd go on if civil asset forfeiture was taken away.

No one is going to jail over the memo is my bet. The worst we'll see is Trey Gowdy channeling the neighbor's chihuahua that barks incessantly for no apparent reason.

persevering lying. the British ministry have so long hired their gazetteers to repeat and model into every form lies about our being in anarchy, that the world has at length believed them, the English nation has believed them, the ministers themselves have come to believe them, & what is more wonderful, we have believed them ourselves. yet where does this anarchy exist? where did it ever exist, except in the single instance of Massachusets? and can history produce an instance of a rebellion so honourably conducted? I say nothing of it's motives. they were founded in ignorance, not wickedness. god forbid we should ever be 20 years without such a rebellion. the people cannot be all, & always, well informed. the past which is wrong will be discontented in proportion to the importance of the facts they misconceive; if they remain quiet under such misconceptions it is a lethargy, the forerunner of death to the public liberty. we have had 13. states independant 11. years. there has been one rebellion. that comes to one rebellion in a century & a half for each state. what country before ever existed a century & half without a rebellion? & what country can preserve it's liberties if their rulers are not warned from time to time that their people preserve the spirit of resistance? let them take arms. the remedy is to set them right as to facts, pardon & pacify them. what signify a few lives lost in a century or two? the tree of liberty must be refreshed from time to time with the blood of patriots & tyrants. it is it's natural manure. our Convention has been too much impressed by. . .

The entire FISA thing is just about what they were willing to do to keep Trump out of the White House. The bigger question is why did they want that so bad. There is something much bigger they were afraid of him exposing. What is that? I guess we won't know that until it happens. The big story in the Media rarely turns out being the real big story.

Notice all the fake news going on in the morning its Trump said this. In the afternoon it's no he did not. They are feeding Barium Meals or Barium Shakes to people all over Govt. Thus exposing the leakers. Don't forget that Jeff Sessions started a leak investigation quite a long time ago. It is bearing fruit.

Too late Culpeper, the truth is being laid bare. Our government has been weaponized by two private companies known as the Democrats and the Republicans that are both run by progressive marxists who seek to subjugate the last independent armed society that threatens their globalist agenda. Stay armed, things just might get hairy and you might be called upon to defend yourself and the country from them.

The Dems wanted the Committee to vote to release their own counter memo even though they would not let them see it. So much for Dem transparency.

Hell, I watched Schiff last night. I had no idea they had that much fucking nerve.

Yeah, I've been tempted to send him an e-mail and tell him to come up with something halfway believable. I'm tired of listening to his unhinged rants of lunacy, that have zero basis in fact. Then I thought "Why would I do such a stupid thing"......

My guess if we don’t see the memo in the 5am news cycle tomorrow. Trump does nothing and we see it when his 5 day Right to reject ends. Which I think is around 6pm Saturday.

Or, it's being loaded onto the White House web site right now, as a .pdf file. Imagine, if he goes in about ten minutes, and then shares the URL. Trump is all about showmanship.

I have low expectations... to quote Greg Gutfeld "When did you ever see an interesting memo?"

Though my guess is that it will confirm a lot of things we have suspected for the past 9 years... or more.

I am not sure I like weaponized as a term here. I think Hijacked may be better term. Hijacked for a progressive (aka socialist/communist) agenda... in a manner little different from how Lenin and Stalin turned the OGU, then the OGPU then the NKVD and then the KGB into the 'sword and shield of the party' and used their thugs to murder millions for nothing more than being... eggs for the omelette.

Tick Tock....

I still think Trump will not release the Memo. They will accuse him of obstruction and interfering with Mueller. But that is the Beauty of the House Memo, Trump does not have to release it. If he does not object it comes out on its own. Non interference. Trump is smart and I believe that is the game. I could be wrong. I actually hope I am and we see it sooner.

I think Hillary’s noose should be made in Haiti like Baseballs. Poetic Justice. Merica.

Holy crap! I forgot that the balls were made in Haiti.

Back before I was piloting a car, my Mom worked for Worth and she did the hand stitching of baseballs.
The company made a really big offer to get her to move the family to Haiti to teach the ladies down there how to hand stitch the balls.
She turned it down.
Not long after that a major league player died in a plane crash heading down there.
And, if I remember correctly, there was some serious political changes happening.
Can't remember the year this happened, but I think we as a family dodged a big bullet.

Trump is a marketing Genius. The hoopla over this memo is the most dramatic I have ever seen. Think about it they can't, not release it now. Its too big. And the mass media hysteria has virtually assured that when released every American will read it. It is absolute Genius.
