the next choke point—lead

I call B.S.

Just like most things the devil is in the details. Raw products such as aluminum, copper and even lead have been produced out of country for years. (Canada, Mexico, China) If you think the entire country is supplied by one US company your mislead (no pun)

I would sersiously doubt you would ever see any change in ammo cost or availability due to this plant shutting down.

What you will see effect the cost and availability is people listening to this crap and not thinking first. This rates up there with spooks all freaked out about the goverment listening to thier cell phone. But then, maybe that did make a run on aluminum foil

I suggest this baseless crap be deleted from the forum

Maybe the lead supply won't even have a hiccup BUT, more American jobs lost. My concern with most powder companies and now the last lead smelter, plus a lot of industry outside the U.S., what is gonna happen if the world get's into another conflict. Don't think China and a lot of other countries are going to be on our side and politely ship materials to us? When WWII happened the entire US industry geared up to make war supplies. Now we have no industry much left and all the warehouses that shuffle foreign goods will simply be empty should a world conflict happen again. Along with industry moving overseas we're also losing skilled craftsmen, engineers, and talent. We're simply a nation shuffling foreign goods and not an industrial giant anymore. Pessimistic Yes but history should teach a lesson but we've lost the game already for future generations of Americans. That's my point and not talking about being scared it will effect the bullet supply in the near future. Long term, who knows?

Says who?

I mean, I don't know, but fail to see where censorship is the answer? My bullshit meter is working okay. BB

Hmmmmmmmm...........

Well, I see limiting this crap as a good thing for our community. (1) It creates panic buying, something that effects all of us (2) The facts in this are wrong / misleading

I dont make decisions on what is removed, I am simply expressing my point of veiw. I support the 1st Amendment, probably more then most, but I dont think that what your getting at here.

I agree this is concerning and has effects far beyond firearms related consumption. The enviormental Jhad our goverment is playing is insane.

Alcoa Inc, went through some of the same not to long ago. People thought the sky was falling and made claims that empty aluminum cans would be worth $1 each.

The point I am trying to make is this is only one part of the supply side of a commoditie. We will still get lead after the plant closes.

Baseless? That is why the NRA issued a news release about it?

To the astute observer, incrementalism is a fact, whether or not you call it "B.S."

You be the grasshopper and fiddle. I'll be the ant and lay it away.
