Is it the price that is painful or that everything is backordered? You haven't scratched the surface, if price is what you're talking about. Wait until you get obsessed with loading accurately and consistently. I only load for the calibers actively and have over $750 in dies alone, another $400-500 in concentricity gauges, headspace tools, neck trimmers, meplate trimmers, $400 in automatic powder measures, another $300 in a chrony, and don't get me started with all the consumables!
As for backordered stuff, you're just not looking in the right place or considering other viable options for components. I have a few thousand bullets, about a hundred pounds of powders, and several thousand primers that I just accrue over time. Considering all that stuff just burns up or ends up in dirt(for the most part for me) I don't want to add that stuff up...

I would post my last PV order, but Homeland Security, ATF and Eric Holder would show up at my door.
Ouch! Hurts considering most of it is backordered. Haha.
My local Cabelas has a bunch of the bulk 69grn .22 bullets you are looking for. I can pick one up and send it to you for cost and shipping? I suppose a med flat rate would be the cheapest?
Pain is relative. Add up what it costs for 500 rounds of .223 Black Hills match ammo ($499.70) and 100 rounds of .308 match ($140). No you don't feel like you spent money, but just SAVED $200! See how great the new math is?

Yea I fully understand what kind of special hell you guys must go through, but consider this: I'm a full time college student working a part time job. I'm already mostly there though. Chargemaster 1500, and MagnetoSpeed v2 will be added to the list before the year is over. I'm missing some match grade dies for sure, a ton of measurement equipment, and I'm not very happy with my Lee Turret Press (thinking about Co-Ax). I'd say I'm pretty well off for now though. It will come in due time I'm sure.
The backordered part I'm not too concerned about though. That was from Bruno Shooter's Supply which is actually local for me. It could be for you as well if you don't mind the drive. It's actually very close to PCR.
Lmao, I lost it at Eric Holder.
Dillon presses are made there in the Phoenix area and they have a store front and I was told by a local there that they sell reloading supplies as well. Look them up. What's a pound of powder or a box of 1k match primers going for at Bruno's these days anyway?
I get your situation, and if you just need a pound of something it doesn't make sense to pay the fees elsewhere. But powder valley online prices are so good you can practically buy just 4 pounds of powder, pay hazmat and shipping, and still save over what you'd spend at Bruno's after factoring in their price, gas to get there and back, and tax.
Last time I bought powder from powder valley, 1pounders of hodgdon were between $21 and $26 and 8 pounds was about $150
