Saw this show when I was younger and it is now on the MeTV channel. During the opening of the show the Rifleman walks down a street firing his rifle' now this was a 44-40 and I counted 13 shots before he reloads. Is that possible or Hollywood?

How did you determine that the caliber was 44-40? Typical lever action tubular mag capacity is 9-13 shots. I guess Chuck had one of the 13 shot ones.Saw this show when I was younger and it is now on the MeTV channel.
