I wanted to share a few pics of the rifles and gear from ASC's vendor day. I have to say, what an amazing place to shoot and have a match. Due to family obligations I couldn't stay for the entire match but I will be back in the fall for sure. If you've never been to ASC, you need to beg, plea, or bribe your way in because this is THE event on the eastern half of the US.
Here's a few pics I took at the ASC vendor day and I'll try to add a couple more from the event later. If you were at vendor day, you had the opportunity to shoot some outstanding equipment.
US Optics LR-17 and SR-8C on a JP LRP-07 and PSC-11 (The ability to go from in your face distances with the SR-8C to making multiple hits at the pictured 600 yards is nothing short of amazing from a single optic. Having an ammo can of Mk262 didn't hurt things.
)
US Optics Team shooter (and partner in crime) Stephen Stover shortly before taking the pictured US Optics LR-17 w/Horus H-27 and JP LRP-07 in .308 connecting 5 for 5 at 1000 yards with a 3+ MIL wind hold.
Accuracy International PSR
Non-other than Scott Seigmund from AI changing out the barrel from .338LM to .300WM in a couple of minutes and showing how to get it done at 1k.
FN Ballista (Ben Voss from FN giving people a spin on their PSR)
Ashbury showing off their stuff
There were others but I didn't have time to take a bunch of pics while running the US Optics vendor booth. Thanks to the other vendors who showed up and displayed their gear and a big shout out to Rod for being one of the best hosts and match directors around. If/when there is another vendor day at ASC, you need to come out and play with the best gear there is on the market and shake hands with the great folks who make it possible.
