Maggie’s The Suburbanator. . .

Any details on this beast?

My "motor tuner guy" Josh's creation.

Easily one of the sharpest motorheads I've ever met. He has a serious predilection for the weird. Lol.

Wilwood disk brakes on all 4 corners. Engine is a "Ghetto Coyote" setup he put together with a pair of turbos. I don't know what trans, but it does have a trans brake.

Suspension is an air ride setup he made along with the exhaust cutouts.

The thing is a freak and riots of fun to toodle around in. He's a rather clever dude.

A great friend!

Yea, but (forgive me, gotta go here....).
It's just another Chevy chassis with a crate engine swapped in.
What ever happened to the guys like me that took an old Triumph TR7 with the original engine and built that to run ?
A 1984 Porsche could shit and get with a built from stock motor with some real creativity.
Don't even get me started on the 1967 Fiat 124 sedan I built for the Paris/Dakar rally and placed 1st in class with the stock 1197cc engine built to kill level (15:1 compression, custom pistons and cam, bored and stroked, dual weber DCOE 48's (tweaked to 52's) non syncro tranny.....etc etc etc etc).

I'm not seeing creativity here.....I'm seeing me too 'izms.

And they wonder why the old tuner guys like me just lost interest.

Not a crate engine. Josh owns an automotive machine shop in Vermont.
He builds all his own stuff. Its also Dominator controlled.

Sorry to disappoint.

If you want creativity we can go there...

HoOdRaT. Our 6.0L motor with an 8.3L Whipple. I made the entire blower drive from scratch, pulleys included. In fact, anything shown in bar stock machine AL I made.

Heads are one of a kind. Top fuel hooped with the H2O passages welded up. They run completely independent of the block for coolant. Cathedral ports just cause I like to be a dick and prove shit can work if you throw enough effort at it.

Is that Josh Munsen up in Williston?

Sirhr

shaggin wagon all the way plush carpet mini fridge drove like shit , rode like shit painted up like a hooker , murals on the side of a woman riding a dragon I miss those days .

Knew ya wouldn't understand.
Bring on the Street Outlaws and the Gas Monkey's.
No.

We all understand.

You are a douche who has to brag about your crap (or made up stories) instead of accepting things for the cool stuff they are.

You remind me 110% of the motorhead version of Theis the impersonator.
And bet you are as a matter of fact.

Glad I'm not the only person who thinks these thoughts

Eurotrash fucking garbage. Next you're going to tell us how Carroll Shelby wasn't a real race car driver and builder because he had help from Ford.

You honestly think building an engine "set to kill" has only ever been done by you? Modern engines would absolutely destroy your 50 year old shitty carbureted junk. My bone stock Ford Ranger with a 2.3L turbo probably has more power than your 1200cc Fiat "rally" shitbox, and would handle off road better.

How’s that transition going? You may wear dresses and even get boobs. But you’ll never be a real woman.

My buddy built/raced Top Fuel, but he's not half the man or engine builder n2ishin is.

🤣

Im not huge on euro cars, but I'll take an old Group B rally car any day.

Throwing shade on someone’s post again. You have to be the most arrogant pos there is. We frankly don’t care about your bullshit. The OP is as gear head as they come. Just do us all a favor and fuck off

If you want creativity we can go there...

HoOdRaT. Our 6.0L motor with an 8.3L Whipple. I made the entire blower drive from scratch, pulleys included. In fact, anything shown in bar stock machine AL I made.

If it's not a crate engine, certainly you'd know this.
What is the cam specs (from the card will do) what intake centerline do you have it dialed to and what is the actual overlap at that position ?

Certainly any engine builder would know this......unless it's a crate engine.

Don’t waste your time with him, he’s a moron. He built the same exact car in 63, but it was 4 times faster.

Yes he time travels as well

Holy fuck. Your ignorance is showing. Might wanna tuck that back in. I could bore you with what I know about cam specs, flame propagation, laminar flow and even the coanda effect that happens on valve seats if they are not sharp enough. So sit the fuck down. You are not as smart as you think you are. There are guys here (Chad) that know way more about engine performance than your smug ass.

So a simple flat mounting plate is an engine part.
Who'd a thunk.
Don't bore me until you can calculate the propagation timing of particle swarm optimization.
Yea, that's a thing.
I asked what should be a simple question for someone that actually builds motors (unlike you) but will show very quickly a blank stare if you buy crate motors.
Yea, I have built more motors than you've probably ever seen and have absolutely zero tolerance for those that only say they do.
Seems they give real mechanics a bad name....and I don't care for that, one bit.
Anyone can type in summit or jegs and order parts, dig ?

So that’s why all of the port work on that drag engine is done in house at LRI. If you are so fucking accomplished where’s the proof. Seems like all hat and no cattle to me.
