So let me see if I’ve gotten close to a correct interpretation of the new study theory (CRT) they want to introduce into our public schools and American society at large.
Best I can tell, I am a racist… merely because I’m white. And the fact that I don’t realize I’m a racist makes me a Grade A racist. Regardless of the fact that throughout my life I’ve done nothing against any people of color. Regardless of the fact my mother’s ancestors are Creole. Regardless of the fact my dad hired black staff to work with him in the early 60s. And regardless of the fact that during the Civil War my great grandfather enlisted in the Union Army and was mustered out after he was wounded in Georgia. My skin color makes me a racist.
My black friends don’t realize I’m a racist either. But that changes nothing. I must concede my fault, and failure to do so makes the situation even worse. I harbor no ill will towards anyone, but I must face the fact that all my life I have been ignorant of my cardinal sin and must change and atone even though that will change nothing. The fault is mine ‘cause I am white… and nevertheless guilty.
And you my relatives, friends, colleagues and brothers in arms are guilty as well. We great sinners all.
My interpretation here, your YMMV.
I am way beyond tired of hearing the left’s substitution of opinions and feelings for facts. To disagree with their opinions and not validating their feelings makes one an extremist. Before anyone jumps to conclusions, I find their study theory to be bullshit.
If I am amiss please straighten me out.
