I like this somewhat smaller, dry sump, fuel-injected 24 valve flat 12. And the car that goes with it:

Very cool. There used to be complete and kit V-8s avaiable, Connelly I think. Wow haven't thought about that in years!

This guy is either a professional watchmaker, or he's the guy that makes the engines and shit for Q's projects in 007.

<span style="text-decoration: line-through">So despite the Top Gear video showing it run, along with showing pistons, valves, a flat 12 dry sump block, gear box, etc. that he made, you think plugs and ignition would be the technical hurdle that would hold him back? </span>
He actually did make spark plugs and an ignition system, but demonstrates it mostly with glow plugs. Check out:

I think he is referring to the video the OP posted, which is running off of compressed air, not fuel.
