I like this somewhat smaller, dry sump, fuel-injected 24 valve flat 12. And the car that goes with it:

Very cool. There used to be complete and kit V-8s avaiable, Connelly I think. Wow haven't thought about that in years!

The thing that blows my mind is that it even sounds like a flat-12 Ferrari engine when it runs.

He actually did make spark plugs and an ignition system, but demonstrates it mostly with glow plugs. Check out:

I think he is referring to the video the OP posted, which is running off of compressed air, not fuel.
