hi sheepdogs and snipers, i would like to know about the legalities about the night and thermal vision in the US for foreing allied countries, in this case for a fellow like me, born in Colombia, sheepdog of profession, preparing to make a trip to the states for night hog hunts with their respective BBQs, and I read in some pages some phrases like this "Also, it illegal to allow a non-US Citizen to look through US Thermal Imaging Equipment, even on US soil. Again, this is a crime punishable by fines and prison sentences." and does this apply to ALL the night vision/therman equipment?

It is a felony to allow a non US citizens to use NV or thermals.
My understanding it that it applies to and and all NV and thermal optics. At least that is how I would approach the matter.

I know that the foreing people can buy weapons in the country with a resident card (green card) but i dont know if that cover this kind of situation also, sometimes night and thermal scopes are needed for hunting and not just for braggin
