The weather is starting to warm up here in North Dakota, and a flock of birds has seemed to gather on my driveway. These f---ing birds are out of control, shitting EVERYWHERE especially all over my pickup in the driveway. These birds need to go down. Not sure why they gather at my place. I think one of the neighbors feeds them. There is shit all over my driveway, it is disgusting.
Does anybody have a good way to get rid of these pests? I thought about poisoning them, but that wouldn't be too nice to the neighborhood pets. I was going to go get a pellet gun and start taking them down, but I don't think it will do much good. Please give me a way to eradicate these creatures!

Re: These birds are out of control.

If you have a local farmer's co-op see if they carry a product called "Crow Bait". It's a red colored coating you put on seed corn. I used to get 5 or 10 dead crows the first day after planting. I always left the dead ones. Not many come back. Put it in a tray or something (upside down trash can lid) to keep it up off the ground so the neighborhood dogs & cats don't get in it.

What kind of birds are they? Some types you can get into trouble for killing. Doing something that just gets them to leave is anouther matter. The trouble is what will get one type of bird to leave won't even get another type of birds attention.
Doesn't bird shit do wonderful things to the paint job on a vehicle?

Wouldn't you just love to have a chat with the idiot that introduced them to the US. Yeah, they are an introduced species/pest. Good luck at getting rid of them.
