A poll released shows SF residents are contemplating moving due to the rise in crime and homelessness that has plagued the city.

They will move to a different neighborhood BECAUSE it is different, then will seek to turn it into the same sort of place that they left.

Their voting habits caused the social changes that make them want to move out, then will also make other people not want to buy their homes, causing their property values to decline. When what used to be their 1.75 million dollar home won't sell for more than $750,000 they might start wondering what happened. But all the negative social changes will be someone else's fault..not theirs.
