They Ran Out of Broccoli Cheddar Cheese Soup, Evidently

From the local PBS affiliate, WHYY:

John Buck Kerlin, 66, is a State Farm agent whose office is on the second floor of the Panera Bread building. Kerlin and the rest of the staff were only let out of the building via a back fire escape around 2:30 p.m.

They could not hear gun shots or other activity, and all they could see was police activity outside. Staff members locked the doors after they heard police outside.

Kerlin said he has worked in the State Farm office for 10 years, and he’s never experienced anything like this.

“It is very odd and unusual, I’m sure, but hopefully everyone will be OK,” he said. “That’s the main thing. Nobody gets hurt and I don’t know where they are on that.”

Kerlin said he is a “proud gun owner and member of the NRA.”

“My only concern is why I don’t have a gun in my own office to protect myself from people like that,” he said.

After he was unable to exit the building this afternoon, Kerlin said he felt like a “hostage” and a “victim.”

“He’s got one and I don’t,” he said. “What, am I going to attack him with my stapler?”

It's done me in a time or two.
I mean, hell, if you're gonna eat an 850 calorie soup, you might as well spring for the 700 calorie hunk of bread

Throw in a tuna on ciabatta, extra tomato and onions, and youve got a full meal. But is it worth dieing over???

Are we talking tuna mixed with that stuff or a nice thick slab cooked rare?
Tuna should never be eaten with mayo or anything resembling it.
It should be cooked rare or eaten raw. To do otherwise would be a disservice to tuna.

Simmer one red onion diced set aside. Melt 1/4 cup butter add quarter cup flower whisk and add two cups milk simmer 20 minutes. 3 diced carrots plus two broccoli crowns cut into small bites. Add sauteed diced onion . Add 2 cups half-and-half Heat on low to medium and add one cup cheese.

Never run out!

The only positive thing I can say about Panera is; Standing on line at one across from a med school with losts of women students. You get to see some very nice Posterior and Anterior views. :)
