They should be put out of business this time.

This is how they operate. They are prepared to pay the fine and continue hiring illegal aliens. It's time to start going after the employers. It's also time to mandate E-Verify. And while we're on a roll, we need voter IDs with bio-metrics.

IMHO, of course

They need to send all the corporate officers to jail along with all owners and partners or holders of major portions of the company.
This hiding behind corporate get out of jail free card has got to end.
Toss some suits in real prison and suddenly they won't be so happy to just break the law and get on with it.

Way too many big companies do it.
Walmart practically had a line item for fines due to hiring illegals on their yearly budget for awhile.

I always figured if the law was enforced and the fines paid companies would stop hiring and a lot of people would self-deport. Demagnitizing the state, so to speak.

Seems maybe a $10,000 fine per offense isn't enough now. Maybe that needs to be raised, but IIRC the 3rd offense brings with it forfeiture of business license. That may get some attention. They would have to ban the owners from obtaining another license for a number of years fornit to have real teeth. I'm sure they would just shadow run them to get around this, but at least it would make them work harder to be shitbags.

We should ban welfare, most disability, and most .gov "jobs"

I think most of you have no experience trying to fill jobs that pay less than what a college graduate makes.

Unions, osha, and lack of willing and able workers is why all our industries are going outside the U.S. .

I just bought (ordered, actually) a heavy equipment trailer last week. The dealer I used carries Load Trail trailers, and I might have bought one if they had one in stock. Instead I went with the dealer's own brand, but it will be a 3 week build-to-order deal.

Anyway, I agree with punishing the employer heavily if it can be shown they willfully or even negligently hired illegals. It will have a huge dampening effect on the attraction for illegals to come here. However, I'm not sure I really trust E-Verify in its current form. From what I've seen of it, there seemed to be more focus on protecting the privacy of the person being verified, than actually helping the employer truly verify whether the prospective employee is here legally.

Amazing how the number of “Jobs Americans Won’t Do” keeps expanding.

When I was a kid, many of my neighbors (suburban neighborhood, single family dwellings) did jobs like construction, landscaping, meat packing, and yes, trailer manufacturing.

Men were able to raise a family and pay a mortgage on the wages these jobs paid.

Someone is getting rich while the rest of us are being ground into poverty.

I say 25k per illegal. Second offense is busines license yanked for 5 years, 50k per illegal. 3rd is felony with 10 yrs prison, 100k per illegal.

Illegal immigration is driven as hard by the RINOs and Repub party as the Dems (maybe more) just no one wants to admit it.

I have a big heart for legal immigrants. We all do really. Problem is no one assimilates any more.

I live a few hours from load trail. There are like 30 trailer manufactures in the area right there. Along with other manufacturing and food processing. For the most part the Mexicans legal and not legal are dang near the only ones that reliably show up and do there job. I have friends up there that have a custom fabrication and machine shop. They run into the same issues, can't hardly finda white kid that will show up reliably, work hard and want to learn, and pass the piss test. Like someone else said it's more jobs people don't want to do. The chicken processors up there, Campbell soup, other manufacturers.. They run into the same issues especially in that area.

I have zero employees and less than a dozen contractors.

I e-verify.

It's not that fucking hard.

Also agree entirely with comments from missed. If you can't get the workers then you can't get them. We need to take a guest worker program seriously, or go round up lazy local kids and force them to do shitty jobs to keep the economy running. Have run into the they took our jobs crowd and it's so rarely true.

I predict the trailer company will go out of business one Friday in a few weeks, open up on Monday with a new name in the same building.

Walmart will hire terminally ill people "because they are so upstanding" and give them something to do and take all the credit for being so nice and understanding and shit, then they turn around and take out life insurance policies on 'em and cash in when they die, when the family itself can't even get the insurance and couldn't afford it if they could. They're disgusting.

And it's legal so they keep doing it. Because it's so profitable and such a comfortable lifestyle, it won't end until it's made uncomfortable and not profitable. Vanity of the bonfires uncomfortable (not the 80's "Vanity" either). This ONE place got called out. There's millions of these motherfuckers. MILLIONS. And they all have jobs. Think about that next time you see homeless people, some of them wouldn't work if you gave it to them but there's a lot that would. Being a US citizen though, you can't exploit them as easy.

Hey ICE, go check out ANY industry or business, especially construction, that doesn't require a state license or apprenticeship in WA, as far north of Mexico as you can get and still be in the US, and they'll ALL be illegal except the asshole that speaks English and drives the really nice truck with all the cheap JC Whitney shit you can pack on one. Just listen and smell for Mexican restaurants where none exist --bingo. It's not hard and these stories should be so common we don't bother to look.

I understand that even Vancouver BC is having issues with this shit now.

These entitled little fucking kids would work if they started starving. .Gov needs to stop the handouts and Mom and (hopefully) Dad need to cut the fucking cord and let these pricks grow up. Pain and hunger are supreme motivators. Ask all the people (mostly non-white) who risk death and imprisonment trying to get into this "racist" country.

Freedom and liberty isn't free. It costs in blood and treasure. If I need to pay a little more because someone has to pay an American to do the job, so be it. It all evens out eventually.

I have worked in manufacturing ever I left the Navy in 1994. Your grasp of the problem, and the causes of it, is shallow.

Some manufacturing is gone forever. Some is not, and is in fact thriving AND growing in the USA.

One problem I see is the culture of pos white people.

1. 2 pos white 30 somethings show up to demo a deck. They are rude, lazy, smoke weed on the job site, and are ran off.
2. Some fucking Mexicans show up to the same job. Smile, are polite, dont sitt around all day, and most importantly WORK.

wtf.
